By popular request, Falling for Inversions returns this fall! Join Anna & Jen for a two-hour workshop building your middle-of-the-room inversions. This time we’ll focus on pinchamayurasana (forearm stand), and expect cameos by your other favorite inversions.

The workshop will begin with a short warm-up flow to encourage the opening, integration, and activation of the body in preparation for the inversions.

Balancing in the middle of the room cultivates an irreplaceable sense of balance, inner centeredness, numerous health benefits, and natural mood upliftment. It requires focus, intention, keen connection to the breath, and a willingness to fall. There’s only one way to find center free of training wheels – and yup, that’s to fall!

Anna and Jen will go over the safe ways to fall out of the poses, and every student will receive hands on support in practice of falling out of the poses. Then we’ll turn you loose to try it out on your own. Find out that wobbling doesn’t always mean you’re about to fall, sometimes it means you’re about to find balance. And if you do fall, you’ll be prepared!

“The error is not to fall but to fall from an ungreat height” -Dean Young

Requirements: Ability to invert at the wall.
