Join Anna and Jen for a two-hour workshop building your middle-of-the-room inversions!
We’ll focus on three poses: Headstand (Sirsasana), Forearm stand (Pinchamayurasana) and Handstand (Adho Mukha Vrksasana).
Balancing in the middle of the room cultivates an irreplaceable sense of balance, inner centeredness, and numerous health benefits. It requires focus, intention, keen connection to the breath, and a willingness to fall. There’s only one way to find your center, free of training wheels – and, yup, that’s to fall!
Anna and Jen will go over the safe ways to fall out of the poses, and every student will receive hands on support in practice of falling out of the poses. Then we’ll turn you loose to try it out on your own. Find out that wobbling doesn’t always mean you’re about to fall, sometimes it means you’re about to find balance. And if you do fall, you’ll be prepared!
