We’re always telling you that restoratives are super easy to do at home. You’ve also probably heard us tell you how you don’t even need official yoga props to do them at home, that you already have plenty of household items that will suffice.
Today we’re going to put our money where our mouth is. In this next series of videos, Christina is going to show you exactly what you need to do restorative poses at home when you don’t have yoga props (and, if you do). She’s also going to walk you through the exact set up for each pose.
We’ll start with a supported backbend. We do this one a lot at Mala, so it might be familiar to you (and you might know how good it feels). Also, since today is Friday (huzzah!) hopefully you’ll have a few extra minutes over the weekend to get in a good five-minute, deeply supported, fully restorative supported backbend. You probably really need it, you definitely deserve it, and we’re pretty confident you’ll like it.
